Walter de la Mare letters, clipping, and notes, 1919-1932.

The collection consists of seventeen items, including: three letters to Mr. Maynard, 1919-1932, about the publication of a poem in a magazine, and including poems in a College textbook on poetry; letter to My dear sir [Seumas O'Sullivan], 17 July 1922, asking permission to reprint some poems in a collection of imaginative verse for children he is compiling; letter to Mr. Grubb, 21 Feb. 1922, thanking him for news of "Miss M," the hero of his popular novel Memoirs of a Midget, in America; letter to Miss McLaren, undated, thanking her for a cheque and glad to hear his lecture was enjoyed; clipping from the Daily Express, 29 June 1928, of De la Mare's poem, The Sea-Ghosts; also, ten pages of notes, circa 1922, pertaining to the poetry anthology of imaginative verse for children he was compiling.
